Here are a few tips and tricks to picking the right window trim for your room.
Play With Colour
Window trim punctuates a room’s most basic elements, so you’ll want to pick your window trim colour carefully to match the rest of the room.
- Use contrast to create a focal point -If the rest of your room has deep, dark hues and solid colours, then trimming your windows with a vibrant white can make the colour “pop.” The stronger the contrast, the more details will stand out. This serves as a natural focal point for the room, drawing the eye from one area to the next.
- Work with your colour scheme -If solid white is too strong a contrast for your taste, then use cues from your colour palette to select an off-white or beige that matches the rest of the room.
